I had such an amazing experience at the school! The kids are adorable and so fun to play with and teach. The staff are great too, they are very nice and help you with everything you need. The break in the middle of the day after lunch is perfect for going and exploring Hanoi, and the weekends provide great opportunities to explore outside the city into the amazing nature of Vietnam!

The hosts were lovely, however you don't spent that much time with them. The kindergarten is lovely and the facilities are great. However, more guidance is needed, you weren't taught what to do, even though I said I'd never done this before, you were just expected to know everything. Most of the teachers in the school don't speak English so there were times when it was really difficult yo communicate and it could be very lonely. There's not much around the kindergarten so the afternoons and evening gets really boring, so I don't recommend doing this on your own

I really enjoyed working with the children, they were so sweet and welcomed me with open arms. But I have to say there is room for improvement. When I first arrived I was only shown the facilities but I wasn't really educated on the rules, schedules and basically anything essential to know. I would have wished for a better onboarding. As I arrived on a Friday, I spent the weekend all by myself, not knowing what was going on. Other than that I had a good time but I would also recommend doing this as a pair as it can get quite boring there, there's not much to do around.

I had a wonderful time at the school. I loved living with a local family and felt very welcomed in the area. The kindergarten was really lovely and the kids were super cute! I would recommend the experience however there could be some small improvements, such as more guidance for the lessons.

This is a very short space to describe how wonderful this place is. It was my first volunteer experience and Duyen, Anh and all the teachers made me feel at home. They helped us with everything we needed. I was able to create a bond with the students and teachers and this is what I expected. It was a challenge for me as it was the first time I taught toddlers as I teach in a Primary School but they helped me with everything. The room where we slept was good enough for our stay and it has an air conditioner. The chef prepared delicious meals for us and the staff were very friendly and flexible

Cris and her friend stayed with us 2 weeks and she is one of the best volunteers we have ever had. She is full of energy, take care our kids, take them lesson in a creative and fun way. The kids learn a lot from her and everyone in our kindergarten love her. She is flexible and willing to help at anything and anytime. She and her friend are tiny, organized, keep our accommodation clean during their staying. I high recommended Cris to any host who is lucky to receive her application. We welcome you back if you come back Vietnam, Cris!
